Program accomplishments
- The Healthcare Purchaser Alliance of Maine uses data to better inform employers about variations in the quality and cost of care provided across Maine and support them in using the data to improve the value of healthcare benefits. The Alliance has developed, and continues to develop, programs for employers that will not only reduce their healthcare costs but encourage employees to utilize high-value providers. Current offerings include programs involving centers of excellence, reference-based pricing, and behavioral health access. In 2023 the HPA became involved in legislative monitoring and advocacy as another strategy to advance value in our healthcare system for our members and everyone in the State of Maine.Expenses $971,322 · revenue $663,850
