THE NORTH CAROLINA OPEN GOVERNMENT COALITION UNITES ORGANIZATIONS INTERESTED IN ENSURING AND ENHANCING THE PUBLIC'S ACCESS TO GOVERNMENT ACTIVITY, RECORDS AND MEETINGS.
Program accomplishments
- THE NCOGC HELD AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE TO EDUCATE CITIZENS AND JOURNALISTS ON NEWS, OPEN RECORDS AND OPEN MEETING ISSUES. THE NCOGC ALSO PUBLISHED A NEWSLETTER AND PROVIDED FREE PUBLIC RECORDS TRAININGS ACROSS THE STATE. THE NCOGC OPERATED A HOTLINE FOR THE PUBLIC TO GAIN INFORMATION ABOUT OPEN GOVERNMENT INFORMATION AND ADVOCACY NEEDS.Expenses $49,192 · revenue $10,000
