<FormAndLineReferenceDesc>FORM 990, PART I, LINE 1, DESCRIPTION OF ORGANIZATION MISSION:</FormAndLineReferenceDesc>
<ExplanationTxt>Our mission is to enrich the health and well-being of those diagnosed with breast and ovarian cancers for life by educating, funding and delivering integrative therapies. Backed by modern science, integrative therapies are shown to support patients' ability to adhere to their medical treatment plans and improve their quality of life. These therapies must be accessible to all. Unite for HER answers that call, where our participants report a reduction in side effects from medical treatments, better adherence to treatments, a reduction in stress, a reduction in financial strain, and an improvement in emotional well-being. Fiscal 2026 was a tremendous year for Unite for HER, one that surpassed our goals, expanded our national impact, and demonstrated what is possible when extraordinary partners stand beside us in service to our community. For the past 17 years, Sue Weldon (Founder and CEO) has had the privilege of watching Unite for HER grow from a deeply personal vision into a national organization transforming the way individuals experience breast and ovarian cancer care. What began locally has grown into a movement grounded in education, access, innovation, and whole-person support. This year, Unite for HER served 10,757 members nationwide through our two core programs that included 6,983 early breast cancer members, 2,915 members living with metastatic disease and 859 members with ovarian cancer. Our signature Wellness Passport Program provided integrative care support to 6,421 members. This program provides up to $2,000 worth of integrative therapies that each member chooses over the course of one year to help mitigate unwanted side effects and symptoms during treatment and beyond. The program connects individuals with services including medical acupuncture, oncology massage, reiki, yoga, fresh vegetable shares, meal delivery, meditation, exercise, professional counseling, and whole-food nutrition counseling. These therapies are designed to help ease the side effects and symptoms of traditional cancer treatment while empowering each person to play an active role in their own care. The Empowered Living Program continued to meet an important and growing need, serving 4,436 new individuals this year with home-delivered care boxes, education, six-week workshops, and connection to our online community. The program ensures that individuals can access meaningful support regardless of diagnosis date or stage of disease. The Empowered Living Program is ongoing for all members. Members in the Passport program also enter into this program once their passport is completed. Together, our Wellness Passport and Empowered Living programs allowed us to meet all seeking support during both treatment and survivorship. Our corporate and philanthropic partnerships were instrumental in helping us achieve this extraordinary growth. HSN and QVC stood beside us through a remarkable Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign in October as well as an impactful Giving Tuesday initiative. These partnerships did far more than raise critical funds they gave us an opportunity to introduce Unite for HER and the power of integrative care to households across the country. Fiscal 2026 was also a defining year for innovation. We secured key funding to expand our work around Clinical Trial Awareness and Education, enrollment, and support, creating an important new pathway for Unite for HER to reach patients at a critical moment in their treatment journey. Too often, clinical trials are perceived as a last hope or something discussed only when other treatment options have been exhausted. We are committed to changing that narrative. Our vision is to make clinical trials part of the household conversation, something patients understand, ask about, and feel empowered to consider as a treatment option. Through our work with clinical trials, we are helping provide access to integrative therapies at the point of enrollment, giving patients an additional layer of support as they begin treatment. This innovation has been made possible through the support and trust of partners including Genentech/Roche, and it represents an important step toward changing what patients should expect from the clinical trial experience. Our work with Avident Health, supported through a Quality Improvement Grant from Pfizer and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), also advanced new approaches to supporting individuals living with metastatic breast cancer. These pilots and partnerships reinforce what we have known throughout our history: integrative care can help ease financial burdens, restore balance, support treatment adherence, and improve quality of life. Health equity remained central to our mission. Through the second year of our Care for HER partnership with TOUCH, The Black Breast Cancer Alliance, we continued addressing disparities experienced by Black women with breast cancer. During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the collaboration delivered culturally aligned nurse navigation, education, and integrative care support to 200 Black women with breast cancer. Findings from this work were elevated nationally through a poster and abstract presented at the 2025 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium, helping ensure that the experiences and needs of Black women remain part of the conversation around research and care. Today, 56% of the members we serve come from underrepresented and underserved communities. That number speaks directly to our commitment to bridging gaps in access and ensuring integrative care reaches those who have historically had fewer resources available to them. We also experienced significant growth among our Spanish-speaking community. In fiscal 2026, we served 256 Spanish-speaking members. In response, we expanded Spanish-language resources including live and recorded cooking demonstrations, education addressing gastrointestinal side effects, fitness offerings, meditation resources, and facilitated support groups. Education continues to be one of the greatest tools we can give someone facing cancer. Through our HER Speaker Series, Virtual Hangouts, Ask the Expert programs, Wellness Orientations, cooking demonstrations, workshops, and other virtual programming, we continued to create accessible and trusted opportunities for patients to learn and advocate for themselves. This year, our educational and community programming received more than 35,500 views. We hosted 61 Wellness Orientations, 48 live cooking demonstrations reaching 2,389 participants, and 26 six-week Wellness Workshops, contributing to a total of 219 virtual outreach events. Our month-long "Potty Talk" campaign, addressing gastrointestinal side effects that can sometimes lead women to discontinue treatment, reached an extraordinary 1.6 million impressions. Across our education initiatives, we experienced a 15% increase in total educational content reach, an 8% increase in On Demand views, a 48% increase in live attendance, and a 31% increase in subscribers. Behind every one of those numbers is a person looking for information, relief, reassurance, connection, and hope. Our mission is also powered by an extraordinary community of people. Alongside approximately 550 annual volunteers, Unite for HER hosted 11 employee giving days and corporate box builds, with 32 corporate groups volunteering during the year. These partnerships directly support our Care Box Program, often serving as a participant's first introduction to Unite for HER and the community that will walk beside them. Our leadership continued to grow as well. We welcomed two new board members, Sybille Damas and Charmienne Ganao, adding important expertise and perspective as Unite for HER continues its national expansion.</ExplanationTxt>

<FormAndLineReferenceDesc>FORM 990, PART I, LINE 1, DESCRIPTION OF ORGANIZATION MISSION:</FormAndLineReferenceDesc>
<ExplanationTxt>(CONTINUED) Every milestone this year has reinforced something UFH believed from the beginning: people facing cancer deserve more. They should expect more. They should desire more from the healthcare experience. Hope has always been at the center of Unite for HER, but after 17 years, we know that hope alone is not a strategy. UFH must be the strategy behind that hope. That means creating access where barriers exist. It means bringing industry, healthcare, community organizations, corporations, advocates, and patients to the same table. It means being willing to innovate, challenge traditional models of care, listen deeply to the people we serve, and build solutions around what they truly need. Fiscal 2026 also marked a major milestone for Founder and CEO Sue Weldon who wrote a book titled Heal, Empower & Restore, bringing the Unite for HER experience to print. The book will launch in September 2026 and it offers a powerful roadmap for supporting the body and mind through cancer care. All advances and royalties will benefit Unite for HER, extending its mission and impact to even more patients and families. We all remain deeply grateful for our board, staff, volunteers, medical and community partners, corporate supporters, and especially the thousands of individuals who trust Unite for HER during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives. Our growth brings with it tremendous responsibility, and we embrace that responsibility. As we look ahead, Unite for HER will continue to be a catalyst for change - advancing whole-person cancer care, expanding access to integrative therapies, elevating the patient voice, and ensuring that every individual we serve feels educated, supported, empowered, and never alone.</ExplanationTxt>
