When the board was formed in 2025, Board Members were required to sign their agreement to follow the policy. Each year, Board Members are sent a copy of the policy and asked to confirm and re-affirm compliance during a board meeting. This affirmation is recorded in the meeting minutes. Part VI, Line 19 We have provided an email on the club website - info@blackhawkssportsclub.com for any inquiries to the club. The email address is monitored by multiple board members. This is our first year in existence, and I was not aware of the requirement to file electronically. I submitted our Form 990 on April 14, 2026 and even had it reviewed by an accountant. I was never informed that it had to be filed online. We received the notice in early June that it was not able to be received manually, and that is our busiest period of the year with the annual tryouts for soccer. I am submitting this as fast as I could. I hope that the government saw that it was mailed on time and grants an exception to penalties owed.
