NASS officers and NDE State Superintendent met monthly to collaborate on improving educational outcomes for students. PROFESSIONAL LEARNING: Nevada Department of Education recertification hours were issued through the 2025 Superintendent Leadership Network for 20 individuals for 39 hours. June 2025 Superintendents Academy Certificates were issued to 230 superintendents and their executive teams for 10 recertification hours. Planning has begun for the 2026 Superintendents Academy. Webinars centered around evaluation were provided online to superintendents. ADVOCACY: Superintendents, governmental affairs, and the executive director spent time reading, analyzing, and proposing amendments to legislative bill/regulations and testifying on behalf of Pr-K-12 public education during the 2025 legislative session. July 8-10, 2025,five superintendents attended the AASA Advocacy conference and met with all six of Nevada representatives on educational topics.
