Subsequently, the organization's CPA experienced an unexpected medical emergency and passed away, resulting in all accounting records and tax documentation being inaccessible and secured within the CPA's office. Until legal counsel was able to coordinate with the CPA's family and the property landlord to obtain access to the office and retrieve the necessary records, the organization was unable to complete the tax return. This unforeseen and extraordinary circumstance created a significant hardship for the agency and was entirely beyond its control.
