The organization helped to make improvements to the event site find officials and equipment for the event and run the event a collegiate waterski tournament from start to finish. 1(b) Hosting Saluki Showdown impacted students who waterski at Southern Illinois University Carbondale in multiple ways. Without the organization the event would not have been able to happen as the organization was crucial in helping to organize host and complete the event. The organization helped to make improvements to the event site pay for lodging of participants and pay for hotel rooms for officials.
