Part I, Line 2: The CIS evidenced based student support model provides integrated student supports through whole school, small group and individual interventions. We address any need that may be a barrier to student success through a combination of direct and brokered services in conjunction with school and community partners. One of the areas of challenge many of our students and families experience is ensuring they have access to basic needs such as food, clothing, housing, and utilities. Staff work with students and families to provide for small acute needs by providing hygiene items, uniforms, healthy snacks or access to food pantries. Longer term needs such as assistance with prescription medication, rent and utility assistance are also provided, often in conjunction with multiple partners to reduce family's transiency and increase the stability a student experiences.
