Twelve students were given scholarships to attend the school of their choice during 2025. 87 0 0 Semi-annual memorial service honoring fallen classmates which includes a prayer service & vigil, speaker and open discussion of their accomplishments during their lifetime for the next generation to hear about and benefit from. When classmates "fall" we pay homage by sending their families reefs, flowers and food. Schedule I, Part I, Line 2 All grants are given to Wilson County NC high school students. The students can only spend the money on things/items the organization deem supportable and justifiable. The checks are written to the schools for the students to draw on for items we specify (e.g.- books, tuition, room & board, and school supplies). The universities and colleges ensure the money is spent in accordance with BAC'72 organization's instructions. Schedule I, Part III Our students get $1,000 to $3,000 per year at most. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6 Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6 - The organization has 13 members who have voting rights on all matters related to the organization. The officers are selected by the members from these 13 members by the organization at large to run the organization. Proposals are brought before the membership present at each meeting to be voted on as long as there is a qualm. They serve 2-year terms, then an election is held to elect a new governing body.
