In 2025, a total of 22,151 patrons visited the museum and a total of 4,137 students participated in various educational programs hosted at the facility. 1026529 Veterans Programs: In 2025, the Foundation provided $203,600 in assistance to veterans of the United States' armed services, their families, widows and orphans. Specific programs in including the distribution of walking sticks, heating assistance to 114 Veterans residing in Aroostook County, Memorial and Veteran Day ceremonies to honor all past and current Veterans, and sponsorship of an American Flag program to celebrate patriotism and our Veterans throughout 115 communities in Maine. The Foundation may also from time-to-time provide funding to other 501(c)(3) community partners who advance Veteran services and programs. 203600 Children and Family Services: The Foundation invested $141,400 in programs designed to lift the aspirations of children and youth by supporting them to become responsible, contributing members of society and by assisting family units to remain intact and viable. A total of 23 programs were delivered in collaboration with other community partners who support the mission and vision of the Foundation. The Foundation may also from time-to-time provide funding to other 501(c)(3) community partners who advance child and family services. 141400 Literacy and Scholarships: The Foundation remains committed to combating illiteracy among individuals of all ages. In furtherance of this purpose, the Foundation invested $85,500 in the training of teacher leaders who, in turn, train first grade teachers advanced teaching skills. In addition, the Foundation invested $35,000 in training and coaching for 16 teachers to advance the reading skills of children in grades kindergarten through 3rd grade. Lastly, the Foundation also paid $36,500 in scholarships for students to pursue higher education.
