Independent living realities, Inc. residence will not only provide a home for independent living, but will strengthen and empower these individuals to allow them personal fulfillment in the ability to contribute to the community. We believe that every adult can live a happier, productive, and more independent life. We pride ourselves on Being a premium provide provider of support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We work with adults to help them make strides in their life, whether it is in self-help or community activities. Our motto is we never say done, we only ask whats next as we believe growth and learning should never stop. Independent living realities, Inc. activities are funded by donations, fundraising, grants and residential rental fees. All of the organizations time is allocated to providing housing and services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The programs we have been providing to assist adults with disabilities include: assisting them in finding the resources they need for their daily support. Advocating for them to receive social benefits. Creating weekly arts and crafts activities in the home where they can participate and share with other adults. Provide cooking opportunities where they can learn to use kitchen equipment appliances to prepare their own food. Learning about gardening to enable them to grow their own food. Utilizing funds that we have raised to provide them with personal items and necessary equipment that they cant afford on their own.
