Technical committee meetings, a mini-conference, and an annual conference are held to educate members on proper use of wastewater, new and/or existing administration and industrial issues, and to update our members on new and/or existing federal and state laws and guidelines regarding wastewater. This guidance sets a minimum threshold for financial statement recognition of the benefit of a tax position taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. Tax positions for the open tax years as of August 31, 2024 were reviewed, and it was determined that no provision for uncertain tax positions is required. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 1a The executive committee consists of a President, Vice-President of Administration, Vice-President of Technical, and four (4) Members-at-Large. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 3 The organization hired a management firm. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 6 The organization had approximately 58 Agency Members and 39 Affiliate Members. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a The Executive Committee is nominated by the prior year's Executive Committee, then voted on by the entire membership.
