Services were funded through Washington State Medicaid Waiver (Foundational Community Supports) billing administered by Wellpoint Washington. Board members have an opportunity to provide input and ask questions about the 990 prior to filing. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c The organization has a written Conflict of Interest Policy that requires all Directors, Officers, and Key Employees to disclose actual or potential conflicts of interest to the Board in writing. All covered persons must submit an annual conflict disclosure questionnaire. The Board reviews all disclosures and determines whether to approve or ratify associated transactions based on fairness, reasonableness, and mission alignment. Persons with a conflict may not participate in deliberations or voting on the matter. The Board documents all conflict-related discussions in its official meeting minutes. The Executive Director recused himself from the vote. The Board's deliberations and decision were documented in the meeting minutes. In addition, copies of Form 990 are available on public websites such as propublica.org Form 990, Part IX, Line 11g Contractor payments of $65,726 were paid to independent contractor Pathfinder case managers who provided direct client services under the Foundational Community Supports program. Anything Helps respectfully requests abatement of any penalty assessed for the late filing of Form 990 for the tax year ending March 31, 2025. This is the organization's first full Form 990 filing; previously, the organization filed 990-N Postcards. We engaged a financial services firm to manage our tax compliance. That firm successfully filed our 990-N e-Postcards for the tax years ending March 31, 2023, and March 31, 2024. However, the firm did not prepare or file the full Form 990 that was required for the tax year ending March 31, 2025. As a small nonprofit with limited administrative capacity, the Executive Director believed the engagement with the financial firm to be complete and did not realize the full Form 990 had not been filed until the organization applied for a working capital loan and the lender identified the missing filing. Upon discovering the oversight, the organization immediately began preparing the Form 990 found a contract accountant to complete the 990 filing as promptly as possible. The organization has also implemented procedures to ensure all 990s are filed on time in the future. These procedures include contracting with an accounting firm to file the 990 and track deadlines, and also educating the Board and Management on the 990 deadlines. Normal business care and prudence were followed, therefore the organization is requesting full abatement of any late filing penalties & fees.
