The Library Director sits as an ex-officio member of the Friends Board of Directors. Routinely the Library Director shares library plans and reviews how funds are used that the Friends provide and describes new funding requirements within the ability of the Friends support. Part IV, Section D, line 3 The Library Director sits on the Finance Committee as a voting member and provides a statement of needs. The whole Board is advised of the Finance Committee recommendations. The Board approves the budget which is submitted to the membership at the annual meeting. The Library Director attends this annual meeting as well and provides answers to any questions asked in regard to the librarys needs.
