There is currently no membership fee and in 2018, there were approximately 100 members. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a The Governance Committee of The Arc of Shelby County presents a slate of officers and board member candidates to the membership by mail three weeks prior to Annual Meeting. During the annual meeting, voting members vote on the election of the Board of Directors and officers. Each voting member in good standing has one vote. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7b Voting members have the right to vote on the approval of any amendments to the Bylaws that may be proposed by the Board. Voting on all other matters, other than the election of board members and officers, is expressly reserved for the Board of Directors.
