The LRC staff delivered a virtual training on interstate domestic violence issues to attorneys. After the organization's independent accountant reviews the organization's financial information and completes the financial reports for the relevant fiscal year, the Executive Director completes Form 990 and related forms. The organization's Treasurer, a Certified Financial Analyst, subsequently reviews the accounting records and the 990 Forms. Then the organization files the 990 Forms. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 The Board of Directors conducted a review of compensation for the organization's Co-Executive Directors in 2016. The Personnel Committee researched comparability data for nonprofits in the geographic region of a similar size, budget and/or mission. The Committee analyzed data for ten comparable organizations in the region and more generalized data for nonprofits, and made a recommendation to the full Board. Upon evaluation of the written data, the full Board of Directors voted on and approved compensation to the Co-Executive Directors. Over the last ten years, six cost-of-living increases (3%) have been approved.
