We believe that enabling justice-involved populations to connect with housing, employment, and other community resources, we can empower those individuals to take ownership over their failure, turn their lives around, and never return to incarceration. Why we do it: Recidivism is costly to individuals, the community, and the state. Yet almost half of the people released from incarceration will return within three years. This Statement of Program Service Accomplishments During 2025, Remerg continued its mission of reducing recidivism and increasing stability for individuals returning from incarceration and others facing significant barriers to housing, employment, healthcare, and community reintegration. Through direct service delivery, resource navigation, community partnerships, and technology-driven solutions, Remerg strengthened its position as a trusted reintegration resource serving individuals, families, service providers, and justice system stakeholders across Colorado. Throughout the year, Remerg provided individualized support through the HOUSE Program, successful reintegration. By focusing on stability, accountability, and long-term self-sufficiency, the program continued to demonstrate that coordinated support can reduce the likelihood of individuals returning to incarceration while improving quality of life and community safety. Remerg also maintained and expanded its statewide resource platform, ensuring that individuals, family members, case managers, parole officers, and community organizations had access to reliable information about housing, workforce development, healthcare, behavioral health services, legal assistance, food support, transportation resources, and other critical services. The platform continued to serve as an important entry point for In 2025, the organization strengthened partnerships with community-based organizations, government agencies, workforce development providers, and housing partners to improve coordination across systems that impact justice-involved individuals. These partnerships helped create more seamless pathways to housing, employment, and supportive services while reducing duplication of efforts among providers. Financially, Remerg maintained a strong and sustainable position, ending the year with a positive change in net assets of approximately $116,957. This result reflected careful stewardship of public and private funding and positioned the organization for future growth and expanded impact. Foundation support increased significantly during the year, mission and approach to reintegration. As Colorado continues to face challenges related to homelessness, workforce shortages, behavioral health needs, and recidivism, Remerg remains committed to building solutions that address these issues at their source. By connecting people to the resources, opportunities, and support systems they need to thrive, Remerg is helping create safer communities, stronger families, and greater economic mobility throughout Colorado.
