The balance of these funds at the end of 2025 was approximately $889,000 which represents about 23 percent of the Society's total investments. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 3 The society hired Status Plus to perform management duties, meeting management for both the scientific meeting and winter postgraduate course, and developing corporate support on behalf of the organization. Status Plus compensates the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons' Executive Director, Tessa Benitez. The Executive Director implements and carries out policies as set forth by the Board of Directors and Executive Committee, maintains a register of names and addresses and membership status of all members, conducts all official correspondence of the Society, keeps specific records of annual meeting, and serves as an ex-officio member of all standing committtees.
