These expenses exclude grants and scholarships reported separately. Form 990-EZ, Part II, Line 24 The organization does not hold any other assets beyond cash balances maintained in its financial institution accounts at year-end. Accordingly, no additional asset categories are reported. The Torchbearers Foundation respectfully submits that the failure to timely file Form 990-EZ for the tax year ending December 31, 2024, was due to an unintentional administrative oversight. The organization operates with limited administrative resources and relies on volunteer leadership for compliance responsibilities. During the 2024-2025 transition period, the filing deadline was inadvertently missed. Upon becoming aware of the missed filing through IRS correspondence, the organization acted immediately to prepare and submit the required Form 990-EZ. The Foundation takes its compliance obligations seriously and has implemented internal controls, including calendar reminders and assigned responsibility, to ensure timely filing in future years. We respectfully request consideration for abatement of any penalties, as this was not due to willful neglect and has been promptly corrected.
