Advocated for science-based wildlife management, including continuation of fall, bear, and cougar hunts in collaboration with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife and the WDFW Commission. Engaged with the legislature on wildlife, firearm, and WDFW governance bills to support sound management of fish and wildlife and maintain sportsmen recreation opportunities and firearm rights. Promoted transparency and accountability in policymaking by monitoring Wildlife Commission actions and informing the public. Participated in an amicus brief to the Washington Supreme Court in a public records case in collaboration with another sportsmen advocacy group, and supported these efforts through a fundraising campaign, including the sale of T-shirts (legal expenses for this work were paid in 2026).
