The life cycle of a policy is: 1. A policy need is identified by the congregation, Pastor, Board of Directors or Ministry/Program leaders. 2. A draft is created by the staff and reviewed by the Board of Directors; input is sought from those most affected. 3. Once in final form it is presented to the Board of Directors for approval. 4. The policy is distributed and added to the Policy Manual by the Clerk of the Board of Directors. 5. The policy may be revised by the Board of Directors at some later date. 6. The policy may be rescinded by the Board of Directors at some later date.
