The kitchen was started through Cargo of Dreams (CoD) support and celebrates more than 10 years of uninterrupted and successful service to the community in need, while enjoying the support of local leaders, government entities, as well as donors in South Africa. 0 0 0 2nd Program - Securing farm worker jobs for those in need Self-sustainability of programs, and enabling people to be financially self-sustainable themselves, is a cornerstone principle of Cargo of Dreams (CoD). CoD, through their "Workforce Recruitment" (WFR) initiative, has secured 80-100 farm worker positions in various states across the USA. Farm labor is an officially recognized shortage by the Department of Labor. WFR assisted USA farmers to obtain relevant government approvals to employ foreign seasonal farm workers and, at the same time, coordinated the recruitment of finding willing, able, and suitable candidates for the farmers. 0 0 0 3rd Program - Tax compliance of non-immigrant seasonal workers Cargo of Dreams (CoD), through their "TCUS" initiative, and with the support of key industry leaders, supported foreign non-immigrant seasonal workers from South Africa to ensure they are tax compliant in the USA, as well as in their home country. Favorable legal outcomes and the end of COVID restrictions paved the way for implementing existing and new programs. Programs 2 and 3 mentioned above were implemented and expanded upon. Nonetheless, all members always have access to all transactions and agreements. "GoDaddy," who was hosting the domain name at the time, tried in vain to recover our domain without paying the new alleged owner's financial demand. Form 990, Part IX, Line 11g Program expansion Form 990, Part XI, Line 9 Expenses Cargo of Dreams (CoD) relied on local pro bono support that has miserably failed to ensure the organization remains compliant with all regulations and legislation. To resolve the matter, the organization has appointed a tax consulting firm that also has ties to South Africa's largest privately owned tax consulting firm. This action ensures that Cargo of Dreams will remain tax compliant, and in doing so, that the key organizations CoD deals with are also tax compliant at all times, regardless of whether they are USA- or SA-based. With this filing, CoD is also giving notice of an address change so that future mail will go to a person designated to ensure official mail is timely and efficiently addressed.
