Vision Statement To contribute to the environment and our communities by improving the quality of local fisheries and promoting involvement through educational and recreational activities. In 2024, we interacted with over 750 kids through various fishing activities. Each event we supplied poles, bait, and volunteers to take kids fishing. The club also gave away over 650 tackle boxes to each kid that took part in our events. Each year the club has grown its outreach in the number of events, kids impacted, and counties serviced. The expenses shown below are specific to the purchase of fishing tackle that we give away throughout the year to the kids. The club also purchases gift cards to give away to kids at our own events for prizes for a mini fishing contest we do with them. Grants and allocations are including all sponsorship dollars we received regardless of if they were used for tackle or other objectives of the club. 30639 14051 The DNR approached the club with a proposal to fund tags for paddlefish that were being re-introduced. We received some funds specifically for this project and covered the difference with club funds as this is something that impacts all fishermen in our area. 8200 9434 A new event the club put on was for adults that wanted to learn how to fish. Other expenses include food for volunteers, clothing, fishing equipment for club use during events, website upkeep, raffle prizes for the following year's raffle, sales tax paid on raffle ticket sales, and scholarship funds donated to a designated fund in which we have no control over.
