This year, SHH assisted 55 low and very-low income families to build their own homes through the MSH Program. As of September 30 2024, SHH has started and/or completed 666 homes with over 27,500 volunteer working hours in the Self-Help Program. In addition, SHH assisted in providing multiple families with secondary construction and/or permanent mortgages or grant financing to help them both purchase and construct their homes. SHH developed 53 lots in Salem City.
