Unfortunately, the preparer miscalculated several financial figures and did not communicate these errors until mid November when they were discovered just prior to the submittal deadline. This oversight necessitated additional time to correct the inaccuracies to ensure our filing was complete and accurate. The problem was also made worse when the preparer believed he had submitted the Form 990 online, not realizing the status was still in review mode and not submitted. Upon discovering the error, we took immediate steps to rectify the situation by engaging with the preparer to amend and review the necessary information. This process took longer than anticipated as the preparer had also been undergoing health complications. We understand the importance of timely filing and are committed to ensuring compliance with all IRS requirements. To prevent such issues in the future. we have implemented additional oversight measures in our financial reporting process, including regular reviews and communication with all parties involved in the preparation of our annual Form 990 submittals.
