Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 Our governing documents consist of our bylaws and standing rules. These documents including our conflict of interest policy and whistleblower policy are emailed to our members every two years. In addition, these documents are posted on our website and are available to all members, as are the minutes of officer meetings and officer reports. These reports include the financial statements and other documents of our organization. If someone who is not a member of the Society wishes to see these documents, we could make them available upon request. The prior person who completed the 990s passed away in 2023 and I thought the 2022 990 was already filed when I got the Treasurer job. I started to complete the 2023 990 last spring (never having done a 990 before) only to find it was a huge undertaking and that the prior year had not been filed so I had to track down all of the info and recast the income statement in a format which our past accountants had recommended instead of the way we look at things. (including investment income as revenue) I am not a tax professional and have done the best that I can and completed 2022 and 2023. But it took me a long time because I am a volunteer and have a full time 90 hour a week job and a consulting position on top of that too. I had an even further delay because only the deceased individual had access to our e-filer (I didn't know we needed one - and could not figure out where to mail the return - my bad) so i had to provide the obit and get them to give me an account. But I am learning and I will get 2024 done in time. Sorry. I also filed 2022 tonight.
