Mid-fiscal-year, it was decided that TFWA would move its operations location to Caldas da Rainha, Portugal, to minister to West African migrants in Portugal. The physical move was completed as we entered CY24. Also, a request was made by a migrant poverty-assistance program in Morocco, North Africa, and TFWA made a donation to assist. The general funds donated to TFWA compose the general budget for the organization. Throughout each year other programs receive either funds restricted by the individual donors or through CEO/Board designation out of the General Budget. Also, when travel allows, fund raisers are held by Mike and Lynn Hutchinson (missionaries) while on furlough in the USA. Togo Tigers Program: This program was initiated this year by wiring financial assistance to a TFWA partner in Lome, Togo, West Africa, who disbursed these funds to provide living accommodations and business development financial assistance to adults and children living in poverty in Togo. This program has now expanded into 2 x 2-month trips annually by Mike Hutchinson to assist the children, especially to get them enrolled in school in late summer with school clothes and school registration fees. The other 2-month trip each year will be completed in the first couple of months of the new year to provide further religious and skills-related training for the children. 0 17282 TFWA was asked by a Church in Morocco to assist with funding for a program that provides assistance to African migrants in that city.
