For the year ended December 31, 2024, the Association had no unrelated business activities subject to federal income tax. Management has evaluated the Association's tax positions and concluded that the Association had taken no uncertain tax positions that require adjustments to the financial statements. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 3 The Organization utilized Slagle Management NW for the management services related to their annual conference. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 6 Active membership in the Organization is open to all elected and appointed officials and public employees having responsibility for any aspect or function of governmental finance in the state of Washington. Any person not eligible for active membership can become an affiliate member or be designated an honorary member. At the discretion of the board of directors, temporary membership is available if a member experiences loss of employment at a public agency. All university and college students are also eligible for membership.
