In the 23/24 school year, we served an average of 96 families across our twelve classrooms. In October 2023, the Center took on debt to support recovery from our pandemic financial position. This debt has since been resolved with the distribution of the Centers ERTC tax credit. Additionally, we receive pay equity funding on a quarterly basis from the City of D.C., which is distributed to our teaching staff through our payroll provider based on staff position and credential held. Our program continues to provide quality full-time childcare for families living and working in D.C. and employment opportunities for the Early Childhood Workforce, with a staff roster of 34. Our program became an Office of the STate Superintendent of Education (OSSE) approved subsidy provider in May 2024 and in May 2025 we received program accreditation through the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA) organization.
