School Children, sports fans, and citizens of the state, throughout the year visited the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame. Long term goals are to continue to make improvements to the museum and to increase the number of visitors by making the public more aware of its existence. The museum was closed in June 2024 with a grand reopening planned for early 2027 in Nashville's newly constructed stadium 156872 217048 The Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame held the annual induction ceremony and created a TV special. The future home is already secured in a new stadium that is currently under construction and expected to open in early 2027. The Hall's website has contact information listed. Form 990, Part IX, Line 24e $223,886 is a loss in disposal of assets from closing the museum. Many of the assets were fixed in the museum space and while they had book value it would have cost more to try to remove and store pending the move to a new location in 2027. The remaining $2250 was various credit card fees.
