Also all communication to the Board goes to one email which is archived. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b Treasurer along with finance committee collaboratively reviewed instructions and filled out the form 990, reviewed form 990 with independent Treasurer along with finance committee collaboratively. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c Review any cases of conflict of interest during monthly governing body meetings. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 Governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements are available to the public on the organization website at https://www.denverartsociety.org/member-resources. The Denver Art Society is 100% Volunteer run, including the Treasurer position, which I, Sharon Kelley hold. I have been working with Quickbooks accountants to help me finalize the books to file the 990 form for the last two months. This has been taking me longer than expected and nobody else in our organization has Finance background like I do. So this task lies Soley on my shoulders. I thought I could finalize the 990 by April 15th, but I just ran out of time with my work schedule. I will only be filing a week late. Please do not penalize the Denver Art Society with any fines. We all work really hard at keeping the Gallery open for the community. Thank you in advance for your help.
