In 2024 the conference had 90 educational seminars conducted by 46 speakers. In addition, 23 vendor workshops were put on by some of our 115 vendors to familiarize potential, new, and continuing home educators with available material and techniques. The conference was attended by 4,454 people representing 1,540 families. In addition, 211 graduates and their families and friends took part in high school graduation ceremonies. 38529 37589 The NCHE Athletic Commission organizes and administers regular season leagues and post-season tournaments in the traditional high school sports. These teams compete against other homeschool, private school, and public-school teams. Sports covered typically include Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Fencing, Golf, Soccer (Boys and Girls), Swimming, and Volleyball. In 2024 NCHE provided opportunities for 143 teams and 1,842 student athletes in nine different sports. 36012 36203 NCHE organizes numerous educational activities such as field trips and chess tournaments. In addition, NCHE awards scholarships to graduating seniors each year. In 2024, 14 field trips and activities provided educational opportunities for over 2,900 attendees.
