Through street canvassing in high-traffic areas of the Bronx and Manhattan and participation in major community events, we promoted electoral participation. We also conducted voter registration drives during Student Voter Registration Week, at high schools, Dominican parades, and USCIS naturalization ceremonies. For voter mobilization, DUSA organized campaigns for four elections, including primary, general, special, and presidential primaries, resulting in 3,647 voter registrations, 48 Ambassadors enrolled, and outreach to 68,400 voters. 193439 DUSAs Tech eSports Program introduces Dominican youth, especially females, to high tech careers in game design, software development, AI and esports management, leveraging their interest in E-sports to connect them with DUSAs civic and educational programs. In September 2023 DUSA partnered with the Cincinnatus Institute of Craftsmanship to launch an in-school curriculum at the Bronx School of Law and Finance, where 20 students ar learning programming, AI and technology project management under a NYC Board of Education approved teacher. Our outreach efforts included distributing flyers and palm cards, sending text messages and emails, and conducting street tabling to provide early voting information and poll site locations. As a result, we successfully implemented four Ambassador cohort programs, enrolling 48 high school students in the program. We registered 3,647 voters and contacted 68,400 voters during the elections, ensuring greater civic participation and voter engagement.
