Summer Camp Adventure (Core Youth Program). The Foundation operated its Summer Camp Adventure, serving thousands of youth with structured daily activities in art, reading, ecology, science, and nature-based recreation at the Puerto Rico Botanical Garden. Camp participants engaged in hands-on workshops, creative projects, outdoor learning, and environmental education experiences designed to support creativity, curiosity, and ecological awareness. The Foundation offered weekly Saturday Workshops benefiting approximately 50 families each week, providing free instruction in arts, reading, ecology, and creative environmental activities. The Foundation carried out major events aligned with its educational and cultural mission. As a small organization with very limited staff, our team was fully focused on carrying out community programs and adjusting to new compliance requirements. Nonetheless, during this transition, and due to an unintentional oversight, we did not realize the filing deadline for our annual return had passed. As soon as we became aware of the omission, we prepared the required return and implemented measures to prevent future delays. We respectfully request reasonable cause relief based on our good-faith efforts and immediate corrective actions.
