The grant also provides educational opportunities for pediatric providers through Spring and Fall Symposia, as well as supports community events. 12916 Healthy People 2030 - The Chapter completed a 2-year grant with the goal of improving vaccine uptake in early childhood and HPV vaccination rates in children ages 9 and above. The chapter continues to work with local community and District officials to overcome misinformation and promote vaccine confidence. 11222 Safe Sleep initiatives - DCAAP launched a safe sleep program for at-risk families identifed through and Emergency Departement intervention program. Nearly 100 at-risk families were provided safe sleep kits and information.
