Prostitution rescue in Thailand through the Well Program displays the love of Jesus to men, women and their families involved in the Thai sex industry through rescue and rehabilitation services that provide food, clothing, housing, addiction recovery and emotional healing through counseling, career education & training and spiritual development. Many of these services were delivered at the Coffee Shop community ministry that began in 2019 and has grown during 2024. The addition of Pastor Addy, through the Glass of Cold Water house church has greatly enhanced the outreach to younger adults. 43177 43177 0 Narimon Program/Community Center Bangkok- Provides women who have left the Thai sex industry a way to earn income while maintaining their dignity. This program provides alternative income-producing opportunities for women and girls who either once were forced to sell their dignity or are at high risk for doing so. The scale of this program was greatly reduced in 2024 to include a few women creating handmade products that they could be proud of. The products (mostly scarves) are sold primarily in the United States in conjunction with public awareness programs that encourage prayers and local law enforcement action against the Thai sex trade. The shift in product emphasis from jewelry towards scarves, convenience snack food products sold locally begun during 2018 has continued during 2024. The primary local sales venue is the Coffee Shop ministry site. Use of this easily accessed ground floor site has led to growth in both the coffee shop and a spiritual outreach through Glass of Cold Water house church. 25903 25903 0 Servantworks operates several smaller youth oriented projects including Grace Fund, The Well Children, Future Leaders, and Thailand Benevolence for youth. These various projects offer a broad spectrum of assistance to help at risk youth to turn from the typical journey towards the sex trade and to focus on education and careers that uplift the human spirit and allow for spiritual growth. 27840 27840 0 Previously a pilot program of The Well, the NAREE Sewing Project administered by Karati Sutter became an full time training enterprise during 2017 under the general oversight of our Field Director, Jim Larson. This expanding effort is currently managed and conducted by Servantworks associates under the name of NAREE within Thailand. At risk women and girls are offered training in sewing skills and provided a workshop with the tools necessary to hone seamstress skills in preparation for entering the mainstream workforce in Bangkok. This ministry continues to draw candidates away from the sex trade and into productive and respectable lifestyles. Form 990, Part III, Line 2 The ministry of The Well and the Coffee shop counseling services were moved to a partnering house church during 2024 with the Pastor known as "Addy" (MD Wheaton University) being the manager of these services. He expanded trainings made available to include Leadership Development programs with young adults. As the church has grown so have the scope and size of those services rendered. Form 990, Part III, Line 3 The project known as NARIMON which provided skill development opportunities for at risk women was fully moved to the Naree project under the directorship of Kirati Sutter with oversight from our Field Director, Jim Larson. The scope of this project was greatly reduced from previous years due to personnel limitations. Four or five women were trained in purse making and marketing to locals. A few young at risk men were introduced to carpentry skill development as well as agrarian skills related to tree farming late in 2024. The official filing typically occurs within a week of this distribution and a board meeting with an agenda listing a discussion of the report to be included.
