In 2024, Christ Coalition, Returning to Joy, Heavensent, and the Rogers Staff fund all mae major contributions to support our nonprofit mission. With regard to training and education -Christ Coalition held a national foster care event in May that over 250 community leaders participated in, including three area judges, to educate and advocate for more grassroots services for impacted families. Returning to Joy developed the content for an online course called Hearing God to provide resources for people wanting to grow in intimacy with God. Heavensent provided timely aid to help keep a off the streets on the coldest night of the year. Lastly the Rogers Staff Fund provided the full time services of Taylor Rogers to serve as executive director for the network - managing and leading all aspects of the organization, including providing weekly and on call strategic coaching services to all the mission leaders in the network. 12017 5465 66999 General Unrestricted. Our centralized support services comprised one of the largest and most impactful programs carried out by the organization. Through our central services hub at 4411 Walzem Road STE 208, we hosted 24 sessions of the Wildfire Cohort to incubate and launch new grassroots missions. We also used the conference room to provide crucial personalized coaching to mission leaders to help them navigate crisis and remain in their field. 2 Podcasts utilized the recording room at the HUB to share Christ Centered content to the world, Returning to Joy and Along the Way. In short, our central services HUB provided meaningful programming content and location for empowering missional leaders within our network. Financial Network Services to support the ministries that are formally connected to the network. in 2024 We had a team that provided financial services to 7 missions within the network. This included budget development, training for documentation using automated receipt keeper system, accurate record keeping through quickbooks online, access to online donation services - free of any fees or charge to the missions that use them. The costs include the contract payments to our finance team, as well as the required subscription services necessary to maintain our websites, as well as the fees that were covered in their entirety by the general budget of the network so that the missions could maximize their impact. 26625 445 30125 Another program that Wildfire Network operated in 2024 was the Angel Helpers Ministry. Angel Helpers helps share the joy of Jesus with families in need by providing gifts to children in a way that provides dignity and agency to their parents, guardians and caregivers. They operated 3 separate Christmas Market events, provided Easter baskets, launched a new program to serve adults with intellectual disabilities, and helped provide school supplies to children from a multi county region including Bexar, Guadalupe, and Comal. Once the form is submitted, the Finance Director & Executive Director can approve or deny the requests depending upon the nature of the request and the annual amount budgeted for grant payouts. If any grant request is greater than $10,000, it then requires approval from the Board of Directors. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 2 The Vice President, Ashley Rogers, is married to the President and Executive Director of the Wildfire Network, Chris Taylor Rogers. Because of this, the board made sure that the majority of the members were non family members, and the three remaining board members do not have a family or business relationship with any other board member. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b Members of the finance committee, Chandler Merritt & Ed Chagoy (Board Treasurer), and the Executive Director, Chris Taylor Rogers, work alongside one another to complete the 990 form and the necessary schedules. Once completed, the Finance Committee emails a pdf copy to all of the board members for reviewal. Once the majority of the remaining board members have sent confirmation of receipt of the 990 and its reviewal, the Finance Committee & Executive Director discuss and make and any necessary adjustments submitted by the board. Once the adjustments have been made and the form is ready for submission, the Finance Director e-files the return with the IRS. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c During December of 2024 all board members were sent a digital copy of the conflict of interest policy and each docu-signed a copy of it to be kept on file. If there are any conflicts, those are disclosed at the last meeting of the year, however there were no conflicts of interest for any of the board members during 2024. This is a part of the annual end of year board procedures to review and sign a copy of the conflict of interest policy. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 At the end of each year, as part of the budgeting process, all staff salaries are reviewed and upon approval, are adjusted for the following year. The Executive Director approves all other staff members salary changes besides his own. Once the Finance Department and Executive Director have both agreed that a salary change needs to be made to the Executive Director's salary, he submits a request to the board for a change of salary. If all remaining board members agree to the salary adjustment, the Finance Department makes the necessary adjustments for the following year. Form 990, Part IX, Line 11g Wildfire contracted with various independent vendors during the fiscal year to complete essential services, including: Administrative Assistant duties for $8,318; Cleaning services for $1,000.80; Grant work & Training for $4,800; and Website Services for $500. The Wildfire Network filed an extension, making our 990 filing due date Nov 15th, 2025.
