They shall be a healthcare provider.Vendors: Vendors shall be eligible for members in HBMA. They shall include suppliers of products and services to healthcare billing professionals and RCM companies.Professional Billing Departments: Professional billing departments shall be eligible for membership in HBMA. Each board member must sign a conflict of interest statement for any agreements entered into by HBMAAny conflict of interest that is disclosed or discovered shall be brought to the Board of Directors for discussion and determine any action. The individual subject of the conflict, or potential conflict, shall not participate or be present during the discussion and determination of any action. Unless some compelling reason is presented, HBMA shall not do business or participate with any organization that presents a conflict of interest.
