The Lone Star Wind Orchestra presented Three (3) concerts at Moody Performance Hall in Dallas, TX and One (1) concert at the Association of Concert Bands (ACB) regional conference in Richardson, TX. The Lone Star Youth Winds presented Two (2) concerts at the Eisemann Center in Richardson, TX, One (1) concert in Trophy Club, TX, and One (1) concert on location at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City. LSWO also performed "Pop-up" concerts around the Dallas community. LSWO Groups reached 1,941 patrons participating in in-person concerts including 426 complimentary tickets to artistically underserved North Texas-area students through Lone Star Kids. Additionally, LSWO Groups reached 350 concertgoers at ACB and 1,000 concertgoers at Carnegie Hall. LSWO received 54,921 YouTube views during the 2023-2024 season. 150867 104545 Education Programs: LSWO offers development programs for young band members seeking additional challenges. The Lone Star Youth Winds, with 65 members, had three DFW performances after weeks of professionally condensed rehearsals and masterclasses. The program has reached over 900 students since its beginnings. The St. Philips Percussion Ensemble is a weekly after school percussion program that serves fifty (50) students from South Dallas. Students perform throughout the community and in Dallas Arts District Venues.
