In South Asia we operate a Bible College and an orphanage with 35-45 children. Budgets are prepared for the needed items for both entities and monthly reports are given. Books are kept on workers needed for the care of the orphans as well as the supplies needed for the upkeep of the ground and buldings housing the children and the Bible College students. Educational funds are provided and vehicles to transport the children to and from their schools drivers are needed and they are budgeted into our grants. In India, we have an accountant who keeps track of the payments to indivdiual workers and he is a paid contractor as well. Some of the grants are used for building projects for churches, dorms etc. They are usually for a specific need and at the completion of that building project, we receive notification and pictures of what is being done along with receipts. In India, grants are given to individual pastors who work in the churches in small villages that have been started by the work of Gospel Harvesters GHI. These small monthly stipends are handled by our director who gives monthly reports on the progress. Grants are given to those who work in the school ministries and village ministries, Bible Conferences and Bible studies. We also visit the places of our work on a regular basis to take part in the activiites and see the progress of each area in monthly reports - site visits - pictures of completed work and accounting reports. Visits have been limited, but we have been able to go after COVID restrictions were lifted. Zoom has been used often for one-on-one reports and almost daily conversatons through messaging.
