The return was rejected for the wrong tax year. I've made several calls trying to get the tax year corrected back to 12/31. After receiving suggestions that others in the organization changed our tax year I pursued those possibilities and confirmed that others did not change the tax year. I am re-attempting the filing due to recieving a notice (CP259A) in the mail with the correct tax year indicated.
