Member election for additional members Part VI line 7a Members of the Diocesan Council are elected by affiliated conferences. Governing body decisions Part VI line 7b The Diocesan Councils membership is responsible for the election of the Diocesan Council President, and approving the organizational structure which includes the officers and membership of the Board of Directors of the Diocesan Council. The President of the Diocesan Council appoints members of the Executive Board and Officers. The Executive Board has the responsibility for the affairs affecting the Diocesan Council. Form 990 governing body review Part VI line 11 Each member of the Diocesan Council Executive Board will be furnished a copy of the 990 filing for review and comment before filing with the IRS. Conflict of interest policy compliance Part VI line 12c The Councils Conflict of Interest Policy is dictated by the National Council. All Council officers and Executive Board members are required to certify annually, in writing, their understanding and compliance with the Societys Conflict of Interest Policy. The Council also has its own conflict of interest policy for paid Council employees.
