It also does not make over 1,000,000 thus it is not required to submit audited financial forms. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 2 The Chief Executive Officer and the Board Treasurer are cousins. Despite this familial relationship, both individuals operate independently in their respective roles. The Board Treasurer is a licensed attorney who provides independent oversight and fiduciary governance consistent with the organization's bylaws and conflict-of-interest policies. All decisions are made in the best interest of the organization, and appropriate safeguards are in place to ensure transparency, accountability, and ethical governance. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b The Board of Directors reviews the organization's IRS Form 990 prior to filing. The Treasurer, in coordination with the Chief Executive Officer, presents the draft Form 990 to the Board for review. Following discussion and any necessary revisions, the Board formally approves the Form 990 before it is submitted to the Internal Revenue Service. The CEO is a licensed psychologist and is only paid based upon clinical work unless a grant is received. All other workers are paid based on salary comparison data related to work and education. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 During the tax year, the organization made its governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements available to the public upon request. In addition, the organization provides copies of these documents to funders and stakeholders as required and ensures transparency through compliance with IRS public disclosure requirements.
