Other The school is active in cultural education within and without the school through conducting cultural programs and events for public. Within school, many traditional ceremonies and school events are conducted to teach children the Japanese customs. The School conducted Entrance Celemony in April, Sports Day in October, Kanji (Chinese Charactor) Tests in October and January, and Presentation of Learned Materials in February. Also, it conducted the graduation cremonies for Kindergarten, Elemenary, and Middle school. Other The school is very active in community to promote and support Japanese art, education, and traditions of Japan. In November, the parents and students of the school perform perform and volunteer at Orlando Japan Festival, which is run by Japan Association of Orlando, Inc, a Public Charity Organization. The Festival showcases Japanese traditional performing arts such as Japanese dance, Taiko drums, and Koto instrument as well as traditional vending booths and games that are replica of the festivals in Japan. The school participated through having a booth to sell Japanese books and other traditional festival items, as well as conducting the traditional Japanese games to entertain children atthe festival for fundraising and education.
