<DescriptionProgramSrvcAccomTxt>2024 SuccessAt the very root of Giving 365s pantry is to create nurturing and safe environments for students and their families. The objectives of Giving365s Parkridge Community Food Pantrys include ensuring that all Parkridge Elementary students and their families have year-round access to nutritious meals at no cost. Looking at the broader impact of this unique program, our goals include reducing childhood obesity rates by offering access to nutritious foods, enhancing family resilience by empowering parents with basic needs, and supporting parents in their pursuit of self-sufficiency and family health. The development of the organizations first School-Based Community Food Pantry was founded as a means of providing vital basic needs support to low-income, marginalized students and their families. Parkridge Elementary School was selected as the organizations first School-Based Community Food Pantry partner in 2020 because of the school's acute need 93% of students are socioeconomically disadvantaged and 80% identify as Latinx/Hispanic.Now in its fifth full school year of actively providing this vital on-site program, Parkridge Elementarys Giving365-ran food pantry is accessible year-round during regular school hours. Future goals with additional funding include expansion of pantry hours to weekday evenings and weekends, bolstering Giving365's impact in providing essential services to the school community. In 2023 this successful program concept extended to another local school Highland Elementary in the City of Norco. While the food pantry itself was under construction, Giving365 began implementation by conducting food deliveries for families in need and supported the school in developing a school-based garden.</DescriptionProgramSrvcAccomTxt>

<DescriptionProgramSrvcAccomTxt>Program Success Summary Youth Mentorship InitiativeFunded by the Riverside Attorney Generals OfficeWith the generous support of the Riverside Attorney Generals Office, we successfully launched and implemented a comprehensive Youth Mentorship Program aimed at keeping at-risk youth off drugs and out of trouble. This initiative provided structured mentorship, positive role models, and access to life skills development for participants aged 1218, particularly those from underserved communities.Key Outcomes:Mentor-Youth Pairings: Successfully matched over 50 youth with trained mentors from diverse professional and community backgrounds.Engagement & Participation: Maintained a consistent 90% attendance rate across weekly mentorship sessions and monthly group workshops.Substance Abuse Prevention: 100% of participating youth completed drug awareness and prevention workshops, with pre- and post-program surveys showing a 60% increase in knowledge and refusal skills related to drug use.Behavioral Impact: Partner school reports indicated a 40% reduction in behavioral referrals among participants, and local law enforcement noted a decrease in curfew and minor drug-related incidents among youth involved in the program.Life Skills & Future Planning: Youth received training in goal setting, conflict resolution, and career planning. Several participants enrolled in extracurricular programs or part-time jobs as a direct result of mentor support.Community Collaboration:We partnered with local schools, faith-based organizations, and youth services to identify candidates and support long-term engagement. Law enforcement officers also participated in Community Talks to build trust and open dialogue between youth and public safety officials. Conclusion:The Mentorship Program has proven to be an effective strategy for deterring youth involvement in drugs and criminal activity. Through positive relationships, consistent guidance, and targeted programming, we are helping young people build brighter, drug-free futures. We are deeply grateful for the funding provided by the Riverside Attorney Generals Office and look forward to expanding the programs reach in the coming year.</DescriptionProgramSrvcAccomTxt>
