Grants are in the form of checks payable to the Treasurer of the College for credit to the student's account. 4 8000 0 Checks made payable to Treasurer of the College Schedule I, Part I, Line 2 Procedures used to ensure our grant funds or assistance to individuals are correctly used for their intended purpose: (1) scholarship grants are paid to the Treasurer of the college (not to the individual); and (2) when the organization provides expendable supplies hosting a community event, the club members are directly involved in the hosting/service activities thus ensuring the intended recipients are being served. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6 The organization has members who: (1) elect from their own ranks members of the governing body (directors and officers) and (2) approve significant decisions proposed by the governing body. Organizational members do not recieve any share or porfits of excess dues, and likewise would not receive any share of net assets upon the organization's dissolution. The terms of office start on 1 July (following the May election) and end on 30 June of the appropriate year.
