In addition to delivering high-quality, out-of-school-time programming, we supported the health and well-being of our members by providing over 39,000 hot meals and more than 243,000 nutritious snacks. The fund balance is intended to maintain 3 to 6 months of the annual operating expenses. The Board Designated Operating Reserve Fund is under the control of the Board of Directors. Part X, Line 2: The Club is a not-for-profit corporation as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Accordingly, it is exempt from income tax on related income pursuant to Section 501(a) of the Code and contributions may be deductible to donors. The Club files Form 990 with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) annually. Accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America require the Club's management to evaluate tax positions taken by the Club and recognize a tax liability (or asset) if the Club has taken an uncertain position that more likely than not would not be sustained upon examination by the IRS. The Club has analyzed its tax positons taken and has concluded that as of December 31, 2024, there are no uncertain positions taken or expected to be taken that would require recognition of a liability (or asset) or disclosure in the financial statements. The Club is subject to routine audits by taxing jurisdictions however, there are currently no audits for any tax periods in progress. The Club believes it is not subject to income tax examinations for years prior to 2021.
