Part III response or note to any other line in Part III MISSION: Our mission is to encourage residents and visitors to protect and enjoy the native birds, other wildlife, and habitats found on Oregons coast through conservation, education, and community science.ACHIEVEMENTS:Conservation program services included successful designation of Cape Foulweather and Cape Lookout as Marine Conservation Areas, plus continued support of the Oregon Marine Reserves, benefitting 78,238 residents of Lincoln and Tillamook Counties.Education program services included monthly free public bird walks, classroom programs for children through seniors, online and in-person science presentations, programs at community events, an art exhibit, and printing of related publications, benefitting 1,100 people. Community science services included a voluteer Osprey next watch program, swallow net box building/observation program, and participation in the Christmas Birt Count and Great Backyard Bird Count, benefitting about 210 participants.
