This is to complete the online submission of the form Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b A copy of this 990 was emailed to all Directors before filing with the IRS. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c UCA have regular board meetings and the conflict of interest policy is one of the topics been discussed and monitored Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 The compensation sub-committee under the governance committee makes recommendations to the governance committee and when agreed on, the compensation plan is sent to the board meeting for approval. Paid officers do not have a vote for the compensation. Form 990, Part XI, Line 9 Return to cash accounting for clarity and convenience of filing. The item on line 9 is the payable in the previous year form. Form 990, Part XII, Line 1 Return to return to cash accounting considering the clarity and simplicity for filing which fits UCA's operations. We filed paper version on 11/15/2024 which was done after our usual filing accountant told us that he could not do it in time due to his work load. We filed the paper version without knowing the requirement of electronic filing as we considered the relatively small size organization would be suitable for the paper. We would be very happy to file electronically so we would have avoided the need of printing all paper forms and going to the post office. We appreciate the mail we received on Jan 28, 2025 from the IRS instructing us to efile the forms. We are sorry that we received the returned paper copy from IRS very late (Jan 28, 2025), as our DC office had problem receiving all mails on time as all mails from many tenants are distributed by the building management and some mails got mixed up and many of our mails got delayed and some of our donation checks passed the time for deposit. We have discussed the issue with the building management and we also use a post office box for most of our mailing from now on so we can reduce the problems of missed or delayed mails. We are very sorry for the problem and would do our best to avoid any such issues in the future. Thank you for your help and understanding.
