Also funds for Curriculum and Programs for our Site and Focus Chapters. EUSD executes and maintains all contracts with Teachers, Vendors, and Consultants for Technology, STEM, Science, Music, Arts, Reading, Garden Science and Nutrition, Language, Health and Wellness, etc. EEF also sends funds to reimburse EUSD for the resources to support Teachers and Programs to include Science Materials, PE Equipment, Special Education Mini-Grants, Art Materials, Curriculum Support Materials, to name a few. Each EEF Chapter agrees to the need for Teachers and Programs annually based on their prior year fundraising efforts. The EEF Advisory Committee (EAC) approves the budget and all funds tagged to be released to EUSD via Meeting Minutes prior to any funds being released. The EAC is governed by the EEF Bylaws 0 0 Schedule I, Part I, Line 2 All grants received that are "restricted" in their use per the Grantor and tracked by both the EEF District Bookkeeper and the Chapter. The EEF District Bookkeeper records the Grant as a Liability on the Balance Sheet. As expenses are approved by the Chapter that should offset the Grant, that is indicated on the EEF Check Request so that when the EEF District Bookkeeper sends out the check, the expense is coded against the Balance Sheet GL Account accordingly Form 990, Part VI, Section A The EEF Board sends out a Meeting Agenda before each Board Meeting as to the general topics that will be discussed. The EEF Officer (Secretary) documents the Minutes from each Board Meeting and Chapter Rep Meeting. These minutes are drafted and voted on by the Board the following meeting.
